about me.

These words were mostly written for City AM, although a few were for the Guardian, the Telegraph and elsewhere. Some of them have been edited for this website. I’m the Editor of City AM The Magazine and Life&Style Editor of the daily newspaper.

My career has included stints at the Sunday Mail in Scotland and the Mid Ocean News in Bermuda. I’ve won a few awards over the years including features writer of the year in 2026, young journalist of the year back when I was young and both student features writer and student critic of the year back when I was a student.
